Welcome to the Club

FREE! There is no charge to participate at the Wilkes County Chess Club and we heartily welcome children and new players. Serious players can expect 3-5 players of USCF class A/B strength on a regular basis. There are 8-14 players on average, with as many as 18. Many of the games are casual, however unrated g30 and g60 are common. The club's experienced players are always available for free chess instruction during club meetings.
